Indications:
Vitamin C in drops is administered to artificially fed babies in deficiency and to prevent deficiency of this vitamin.
Action:
Vitamin C takes part in metabolic processes of the human body such as oxidation, reduction or enzymatic reactions. Essential for formation of collagen and intercellular substance, and at the same time, for proper development of cartilages, bones, teeth, healing of wounds; decreases permeability of capillary vessels. It influences the formation of immune bodies - immunoglobulins and interferon in organisms, and eases the absorption of iron in the intestines.
