Indications:
The preparation is used as a supplement of a diet deficient in fish oils, in patients with increased risk of atheromatosis and with a lower efficiency of cardiovascular system, additionally smoking and exposed to stress.
Action:
Omega-3 acids contribute to lowering the level of triglycerides and the so called 'bad cholesterol' - LDL cholesterol, at the same time increasing the level of 'good cholesterol' - HDL cholesterol. Omega-3 acids influence the fat metabolism of the organism by bettering the protection of the cardiovascular system and easing its proper functioning.
Garlic has a protective effect on the circulatory system. Biologically active substances contained in garlic reduce the cholesterol in blood vessel walls and lower the blood pressure.
Vitamin E inhibits the oxidation of free-fatty acids and protects the cells against the harmful effect of free radicals.
