The medicinal product Juvit D3 MAX is intended for use for the following indications:
Prevention of vitamin D deficiencies and the resulting conditions (e.g. rickets, osteomalacia) in adults, youth, children, infants and neonates.
Adjuvant therapy in osteoporosis in adult patients.
Prevention of vitamin D deficiencies in women planning to be pregnant, already pregnant and breast-feeding in consultation with the doctor.
The medicinal product can be used in the treatment of vitamin D deficiencies, rickets, osteomalacia in diagnosed patients, as a continuing therapy.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Hypercalcaemia; Kidney stones; No activity of cholecalciferol hydroxylase in the liver and kidneys; Acute renal failure.
Do not co-administer with other Juvit products containing cholecalciferol.
