Properties and applications:
The product contains fish oil which is a source of unsaturated fatty acids of the Omega-3: EPA - eicosapentaenoic acid and DHA - docosahexaenoic acid. Omega-3 acids are involved in many important bodily processes and because they are not synthesised in the human body, they must be administered through diet. Eicosapentaenoic acids (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acids (DHA) contribute to the proper functioning of the heart (beneficial effect is obtained with a consumption of 250mg of EPA and DHA per day).
Garlic is a component favourably acting on the heart, circulatory system and lipid metabolism. Biologically active substances contained in garlic are conducive to the normalisation of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.
The content of vitamin E in the formulation inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids and helps protect cells against oxidative stress (against the harmful effects of free radicals).
It is used as a supplement to a diet low in sea fish, especially in smokers and people exposed to stress.
