One soft capsule contains 15mg of Dextromethorphan hydrobromide (Dextromethorphani hydrobromidum).
Excipients: sorbitol, cochineal red
Indications:
Short-term in the symptomatic treatment of acute, dry cough, not related to the retention of secretions in the airways.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Dextromethorphan or any of the other ingredients of the product.
Asthma.
Respiratory failure or the risk of its occurrence.
Product should not be used in patients with chronic cough, emphysema, chronic bronchitis.
Severe hepatic impairment.
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
Dextromethorphan should not be taken during treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or within 14 days after completion of treatment with such drugs.
The product should not be used in breastfeeding women.
