500 mg of simethicone
Excipients: gelatin, glycerol, quinoline yellow.
What is Ulgix USG and what it is used for
Ulgix USG contains a high dose of simethicone. This increases the effectiveness of the product, which helps better alleviate the ailments caused by severe flatulence. The recommended dose of simethicone exerts solely s superficial effect and is neutral for the organism.
Simethicone is capable of decreasing the surface tension of mucus and gas bubbles accumulated in the intestines. Used before diagnostic imaging, simethicone helps remove the excess of gas bubbles accumulated in the intestines, thus improving the quality of diagnostic images.
Ulgix USG is indicated:
- to help remove excess gas bubbles and air before diagnostic imaging of the abdominal cavity, to improve the quality of diagnostic images, such as: x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopic examination,
- to alleviate the symptoms of excessive accumulation of gas bubbles in the intestines, such as: feeling of fullness, severe flatulence, belching.
How to use Ulgix USG
The product has the form of gelatin capsules for oral administration.
Before diagnostic imaging
One day before the diagnostic examination: 1 capsule in the evening, on the day of examination: 1 capsule in the morning on an empty stomach.
Temporary treatment in case of disturbing excess of gas bubbles in the intestines with symptoms such as: belching, severe flatulence, feeling of fullness and bloating
Patients over 18 years of age 1 capsule up to 2 times daily
The capsules may be taken before, after and with meals, with an appropriate amount of liquid (around 1 glass of water).
Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Do not take more than the recommended dose.
Do not use the product after the expiry date.
Before you use Ulgix USG
The product is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to simethicone or any other excipient.
Before using this product, consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
