Pharmaceutical Production Company PPF Hasco-Lek S.A. is a leading manufacturer of medicinal products, food supplements and medical devices. All Hasco-Lek products are manufactured in two state-of-the-art production plants in Wrocław and Siechnice near Wrocław. The company is a family-run business and one of the few pharmaceutical companies with 100% Polish capital.

Hasco-Lek is the leader in sales of oral liquids, suspensions and syrups as well as products in the form of soft gelatin capsules on the Polish market. In 2019, sales reached nearly 48 million packagings (IQVIA Commercial, National Sales Data, YTD/12/2019). This means that, statistically, every person in Poland has at least 1 product from Hasco-Lek in their medicine cabinet.

The company’s top priority is the protection of patients’ health and safety, which is why, since its very foundation, Hasco-Lek has emphasized innovation, research and development. The first medicine made by the Wrocław-based company was the Tussipini cough syrup. An important milestone came in 1999, when, as the first pharmaceutical company in the world, Hasco-Lek started the production of soft gelatin capsules using the matrix method, encapsulating a liquid substance – loratadine. Today, the portfolio PPF Hasco-Lek S.A. includes over 350 products popular with Polish consumers, such as: IBUM, Mensil, DIH, Juvit, Hascovir, Ulgix or Mel.

The company is 4th on the Polish market when it comes to the number of OTC packaging units sold, and 28th when it comes to the sale of prescription drugs (IQVIA Commercial, National Sales Data, 12/2019).

It is a member of various organisations and associations, including, among others: the Nutribiomed Cluster, Polska Platforma Technologiczna Innowacyjnej Medycyny (Polish Technological Platform for Innovative Medicine), Polska Platforma Technologiczna Biogospodarki (Polish Technological Platform for Bioeconomy), Zachodnia Izba Gospodarcza (Western Chamber of Economy), Business Centre Club, Stowarzyszenie Inicjatywa Firm Rodzinnych (Family Enterprise Initiative), etc. PPF Hasco-Lek develops its innovative activity also by regularly working with other pharmaceutical companies and higher education institutions such as the University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Wrocław and Poznań Medical Universities, Institute of Low Temperature and Structural Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław.

Currently, Hasco-Lek is also present on foreign markets, cooperating with 44 countries worldwide, including the UK, Germany, Israel, Norway, Belgium, Italy, Vietnam and Australia. The company’s brands are distributed on 18 different markets, including Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Estonia and Mongolia.

Over the years, Hasco-Lek has received numerous awards and distinctions, and its reliability is confirmed by certificates such as Solidna Firma (Reliable Company), Solidny Pracodawca (Reliable Employer), or Przedsiębiorstwo Fair-Play (Fair Play Company).
