The business activity of PPF Hasco-Lek S.A. involves primarily the manufacture of medicinal products, food supplements, medical devices and cosmetics. According to IMS Health data summarizing 2016, PPF Hasco-Lek ranks 5th in the Polish pharmaceutical market in terms of the number of packages of over-the-counter (OTC) products sold and 28th in terms of prescription (Rx)* drug sales.
Thanks to the efforts of experts from the Novasome Research and Development Centre (HASCO Group), Hasco-Lek can introduce to the market products with unique properties which separate the Group from competition.
In 2016, we started selling Fortiven Activ Gel, currently the only gel available on the market with dose of heparin this high – 2400 IU/g. Also in 2016, Hasco-Lek introduced a new analgaesic, Mel, the only OTC meloxicam in a unique form – orally disintegrating tablet. Hasco-Lek also has a significant share in the market of products for gastric issues; in this respect, Ulgix Laxi deserves a special mention, being the only docusate available in Polish pharmacies.
Hasco-Lek continuously works on new preparations; in 2017, we are planning on introducing more products responding to the needs of Polish patients.

Development of international sales allowed our products to reach as many as 43 countries. We plan on further expansion into new markets, including on other continents.

Ibum is a market leader both when it comes to the quantity sold and sales value – in 2016, we sold over 6 million of these ibuprofen capsules. Another of our brands, DIH, is leading when it comes to the number of packagings sold among diosmin products used in oral treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. In 2016, Hasco-Lek sold over 1.2 million packagings of DIH.
