In keeping with its mission of caring for the health and comfort of life, Hasco-Lek is paying special attention to the environment by joining UPM Raflatac’s RafCycleTM program.
As part of its mission of caring for health and comfort of life, Hasco-Lek pays special attention to the environment. The company joined the recycling programme RafCycleTM by UPM Raflatac and submitted label liners for recycling.
The introduced RafCycle service considerably reduces the amount of waste deposited, and minimises the need for raw material thanks to closed-loop waste processing. This means that used label liners are turned back onto raw material, which reduces their impact on the environment. The cooperation is documented by a Rafcycle certificate issued by Patryk Topolnicki, Head of Packaging Solutions at UPM Raflatac.
The certificate issued to Hasco-Lek S.A. is a confirmation of the efficacy of the efforts undertaken and the company’s years-long strategy aiming towards sustainable development. Both our plants – in Wrocław and in Siechnice – have implemented an environmental management system certified for compliance with the ISO 14001 standard, and the processes use resources, packaging and other materials in a deliberately planned-out manner.
