Symptomatic treatment of anxiety in adults.
Symptomatic treatment of pruritus.
Premedication before surgeries.
Hypersensitivity to hydroxyzine, cetirizine and other piperazine derivatives, aminophylline,
etylenodiamina or any of the excipients (listed in section 6);
– diagnosed porphyria (disease that occurs when the body has problems making haem
found in haemoglobin);
– heart rhythm disorders in ECG,
– meaning long QT;
– existing or a history of circulatory disease,
or very low heart rate;
low serum electrolyte levels (e.g. low potassium or
magnesium levels);
administration of drugs used to treat heart rhythm disorders, which may
affect heart rhythm (see Using other medicines and Hydroxyzinum Hasco);
– a family history of early death from heart disease;
– breast-feeding and pregnancy
