The active substance is ketoprofen. 1 capsule contains 50 mg of ketoprofen. Other ingredients (excipients): macrogol 400, potassium hydroxide 50%, purified water, and capsule shell: gelatin, liquid sorbitol, partially dehydrated, cochineal red (E 124), purified water.
Ketokaps Max is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain of various origins (e.g. muscle pain, bone and joint pain, headache, toothache, painful menstruation).
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. A history of hypersensitivity reactions, such as bronchospasm, bronchial asthma attack, rhinitis, urticaria or other allergic reactions following ingestion of ketoprofen, salicylates (including acetylsalicylic acid) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSADs). Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic reactions to ketoprofen have been reported in such patients. 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Existing stomach and (or) duodenum ulceration or GI bleeding, history of GI ulceration or perforation. Haemorrhagic diathesis. Acute heart failure. Acute liver or kidney failure. Acute heart failure. Acute liver or kidney failure. Do not use in children and youth under 15 years of age.
