Excipients: sorbitol, cochineal red, propylene glycol
A PRN medication used in the symptomatic treatment of acute, dry cough, not associated with the retention of secretions in the respiratory tract
Hypersensitivity to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient.
Bronchial asthma.
Severe hepatic failure.
Respiratory failure or risk of its occurrence.
Tussidex must not be used in patients with chronic cough, emphysema, chronic bronchitis.
Do not use dextromethorphan during the treatment with MAO inhibitors and up to 14 days after their discontinuation.
Do not use the product in breast-feeding women.
