Our employees gladly share their knowledge with students, giving talks and lectures at higher education institutions. Having noticed the need to combine advanced knowledge of chemistry with elements of medicine, we supported Wrocław Medical University’s motion to establish a new specialisation – Medical Chemistry. One of the employees of Hasco-Lek S.A. (Director of Scientific Affairs) teaches Industrial Pharmacy to fourth year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Wrocław Medical University and supervises master’s theses.
This helps graduates obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for starting work at research, control and diagnostic laboratories in the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and other industries. Hasco-Lek S.A. supports student science clubs, is a participant of the Poland-wide science conference “Contemporary use of analytical methods in pharmacy and medicine,” the seventh edition of which took place in 2022.
In Novasome’s laboratories, we can find, among others, GC-MS and LC-MS machines, which enable separation, detection and identification of a wide array of chemical compounds, a confocal Raman microscope, which allows us to conduct full characterisation of active substances, excipients, packagings and dispensing systems, to determine the distribution of formulation ingredients and production technologies, as well as the characteristics of packaging using chemical imaging, and more machines and other equipment such as XRPD, TGA-DSC, BET etc. Our advanced research and development machinery, together with the work of high-class specialists, have been a great asset for us.
