Thus, in compliance with the law, including Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019 on the protection of persons reporting violations of Union law (hereinafter: the “EU Directive”), we have provided the possibility to report violations of the law using the Notification Sheet. The solution is part of the supervision of compliance with the norms of the law and responsible action. The use of concretized rules enables the implementation of transparent processes to ensure that reports received can be identified and responded to promptly.

As part of our compliance awareness activities at PPF HASCO-LEK S.A., we are constantly working to educate our Employees on ethical behavior and compliance with laws and internal regulations.

Notification of infringement may concern (catalog indicated in Article 2 of the EU Directive):

1) public procurement;
2) financial services, products and markets;
3) prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
4) product safety and compliance;
5) transportation security;
6) environmental protection;
7) radiological protection and nuclear safety;
8) food and feed safety;
9) animal health and welfare;
10) public health;
11) consumer protection;
12) Privacy and data protection;
13) security of information and communication networks and systems;
14) the financial interests of the European Union;
15) the internal market of the European Union, including competition and state aid rules and corporate taxation.

Key rules for  breach reporting:

(1) The reporting person shall make the report in good faith, immediately upon learning of the occurrence of the violation, and shall have a reasonable belief in the veracity  of the information it provides.
(2) The notification should include all relevant data on the noticed violation, including possible evidence, i.e.: documents, photos, recordings, e-mails.
(3) The submission of an application may be made openly or anonymously. It is up to the Reporting Person in each case to decide how to communicate the information.
(4) Feedback shall be provided only in the case of an application made openly, with the indication of contact information for the reporting Person.
(5) Deadlines for receipt of confirmations and feedback, subject to clause. 4 above, are indicated in Art. 9 paragraph. 1(f) of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019. On the protection of persons reporting violations of Union law.
(6) Any follow-up by the Compliance Cell at HL shall be done with due diligence, anonymity, confidentiality and impartiality.
(7) Before filing through external filing channels, it is preferred to use HL’s internal filing channels.
(8) The organization of receipt and verification of notifications, follow-up and related processing of personal data shall prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to the information covered by the notification and shall ensure protection of the confidentiality of the identity of the notifier, in accordance with the RODO and the HASCO Group Privacy Policy.
