Mel Max Actigel

Composition

The active substance is sodium diclofenac. One gram of gel contains 20 mg of sodium diclofenac.

Indications

Mel Max Actigel is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

The product has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects.

It is used for topical treatment:

Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age:

  • post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (e.g. resulting from sprains, strains or bruises),
  • back pain,
  • limited inflammation of soft tissues, such as tendonitis, tennis elbow, bursitis, periarthritis.

Adults (over 18 years of age):

  • limited and mild forms of osteoarthritis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or to any of the excipients.

In addition, the medicinal product should not be used:

  • in patients whose asthma, angioedema, urticaria or acute rhinitis are caused by acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),
  • in the last trimester of pregnancy,
  • in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
